THE LECTURES IN THIS CLASS:
ARE DELIVERED ON A CD YOU RECEIVE THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS.
THEY ARE VIEWED ON A COMPUTER AT HOME (OR WHEREVER YOU WISH)
MUCH AS YOU WOULD VIEW A CLASSROOM LECTURE.
THE IN CLASS LAB ACTIVITIES THEN INCLUDE:
* AN INTERACTIVE EXERCISE ABOUT THE LECTURE YOU JUST VIEWED
YOUR QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS ABOUT THE LECTURE YOU JUST VIEWED
* A REVIEW OF THE INFORMATION ON THE LECTURE YOU JUST VIEWED
* THE LAB EXERCISES AS INDICATED ON THE LAB SCHEDULE
* THE SESSION BEFORE AN EXAM: A REVIEW OF THE WRITTEN AND PHOTO PORTIONS OF THE UPCOMING EXAM
RECOMMENDED STUDY PROCEDURES
Watch the Lecture CD as directed in
the lecture schedule and take notes
Make sure this is done prior to the lab meeting in which that subject will be discussed
Study the Photo Exam Pictures as displayed on our website
Focus on labels that were discussed in the Lecture
#3 Attend all Labs and use the lab material to study for the sectional exams
To do well on a sectional exam the college recommends 12 to 15 hours of
additional study time for each
I personally recommend watching the Lectures a second time as part of that additional study time
